For the last five months, I have been working with my sister (partner in all things publishing and fellow notebook hoarder) on a whole new creative venture:

Willow Lane Notebooks.

Together we have been thoughtfully and joyfully creating high-end hardcover A5 notebooks and journals that use my artwork and Naomi’s graphic design skills. We both love art and design. We both have a particular obsession with notebooks. And we have both spent many years working together on books and publishing. So it was the most natural thing in the world for us to go into designing and producing notebooks and journals for others who love notebooks as much as we do (or even at least half as much as we do because we maybe love them more than we should).

We both genuinely believe that a notebook can change a life because notebooks have changed ours. That is why we are inspiring the world one notebook at a time.

Willow Lane is the place where our art and design meet.

Our notebooks will be landing on Amazon virtual shelves around the world and appearing on this site very soon – mere weeks. In the meantime, here are some pictures of the original art you will find recreated for our covers for our first and growing batch of Willow Lane Notebooks. (Expect a very diverse range of styles and designs, from joyous gouache folk art, through to moody watercolours.)
