Well… it’s happened again. Our Country Twilight notebook has clearly taken off for a country getaway and arranged itself in the one spot with the best ambience — wreath above, candle beside, books for company. If it starts asking for warm scones and a late check-out, we may have to intervene. Until then… who knows where it’ll book its next holiday?
Today’s sighting was a surprise even by our notebooks’ usual standards — our Cosy Camping journal appears to have slipped itself into a pile of travel maps and old postcards, as if planning its next great escape. Nobody saw when it arrived, of course. One moment the desk was empty… the next, there it was, looking utterly pleased with its choice of companions. Honestly, we’re starting to think this one has a talent for organising its own holidays. Where will it wander next? Chances are it’s already en route.
On tonight’s little adventure, this wandering journal slipped into a fireside corner — settling in as if it had been invited. Soft cushions, warm light, a cup within reach… honestly, it chose the cosiest seat in the room. For a notebook called Coffee on the Balcony, it certainly isn’t limiting itself to balconies. Wherever there’s a good story brewing, it tends to wander that way. Where will it turn up next? These notebooks never stay put for long.
On today’s round of unexpected sightings, our Coffee on the Balcony journal was spotted settling into the warm sparkle of a busy café — not a balcony in sight. What was it doing there? Those notebooks do have a mind of their own, and if there are stories brewing, they tend to find them. It lingered between chatter and clinking cups, looking perfectly at home in the glow. Where will it wander next? These notebooks do get around.
On today’s wanderings, one of our notebooks found itself in excellent company… Just as the sun dipped low, it was scooped up for a quiet read—only to be greeted by the happiest little face. Apparently, the dog approved. Tail wags, soft light, and an unexpected friend… not a bad way to spend an evening if you’re a notebook on the move. ...More notebook adventures coming soon… they do get around.
On today’s round of questionable decisions, our Four Seasons notebook decided the best way to enjoy the wall art was to become the wall art. There it was, perched upright on the sofa, little socked feet dangling out, like this was all perfectly normal. It sat very still, clearly convinced no one would notice a notebook trying to camouflage itself as a person enjoying a cosy afternoon. Where will it attempt to blend in next? These notebooks are chaos in paper form.
